Rear Washer Pump
The 2006 Hummer H3 has a rear window wiper and rear washer fluid pump. There is not a separate washer fluid resevoir near the back window, so it must be pumped from the main windshield washer fluid resevoir under the hood. The rear window wiper does not clean the entire rear window. But, rear visibility from within a Hummer H3 is not that great to start with, so any additional help is appreciated.
In and of itself, there is nothing special about the 2006 Hummer H3 rear washer fluid pump. The only reason I even bothered to mention it here is because mine failed and had to be replaced at about 6 months/12,500 miles. Coincidentally, that was only about 3 days after receiving the following letter from Hummer in the mail. Without any hassel at all, the dealership replaced the rear washer pump under warranty on my next oil change.
